Together, Let's Feed Other's Mouth

    Together, Let’s Feed Other’s Mouth

Do not buy from the malls, buy from the stalls in the sidewalks
Together, let us help them feed their families!!!

Most of us, we bought our necessary things from the malls because it is very convenient, it is air conditioned and hustle free, that is normal. We always seek for convenience. However, at times we don't notice that there is wisdom in buying from the stalls in the sidewalks. When we buy our necessary things like fruits and vegetables for our daily consumptions from them we are helping them to feed also their families.
In this season of Lent let us put our faith into practice. Let us help our brothers and sisters who are in need.
As much as possible, let us not buy from the malls, the owners are already rich. They just spend their income for their luxurious lifestyle. Let us buy from the sidewalk vendors. Their income is not for luxury, it is to feed the many mouths that rely on them.
Together, let us help them feed their families.

10 Possible Scenarios Why There Should Be No All Out-War

ALL OUT WAR?

As triggered by the Mamasapano incident, people belonging to several groups call for President Noynoy Aquino to launch an all-out war against the MILF and BIFF but is an all-out war the best thing to do for this moment? I think it’s not.

If the government will launch an all-out war against the MILF and BIFF:

1.       The greater casualties will not belong to both the government and the rebels but to the civilians who will be displaced during military encounters.

2.       Philippine economy will be down.

3.       Many lives will be sacrificed.

4.       The decades-long Government and MILF peace process will go into waste.

5.       There is no certainty that insurgency in our country will end.

6.       If we seek help from allied countries like Japan and America there is also a possibility that international terrorist groups will also help the rebels. Are we prepared that our Philippine soil will become a battlefield?

7.       The greater slice of the annual budget of the government will go to military instead of education and health.

8.       Our country will become poorer and poorer.

9.       There will be greater avenues for corruption from the military supplies.

10.   Instead of peace we will harvest chaos.

I am not saying that we will forget the Massacre, we will never forget the incident that killed 44 SAF Commandos however we will pursue justice and ensure that the perpetrators will pay in the strongest possible sense of the law but not in launching an all-out war, instead the government should launch an all-out justice for the 44 lives that was banished during the encounter. The government should let those responsible for the sad incident be made accountable even how high or low are there positions in the society and utilize other avenues so that justice will be serve. Lastly, we should learn from that incident and prevent it from happening again.

WHAT HAPPEN TO THE AMPATUAN MASSACRE CASE?

assistasia.files.wordpress.com

The term of His Excellency Noynoy Aquino as President of the Republic of the Philippines is almost over, yet what happen to the Maguindanao Massacre Case? It seems that the victims killed during the massacre is constantly being killed again and again to stop their groaning and clamor for justice to be serve will be heard by our justice system.

Too many affidavits of the witnesses and evidences were submitted and exhibited, yet until now justice is illusive to hold for the victims and their families. Why it takes too long to solve the case? It is very clear already who were the perpetrators and yet it is very difficult to promulgate a decision and serve the justice in the name of those more than 50 persons who died last November 23, 2009.

As years pass by, it seems that the chance to get hold of the justice for the victims of the AMPATUAN MASSACRE is getting darker and darker. The face of the authorities in our justice system is getting thicker and thicker as they delay the illusive justice to be serve for the victims.

To our President Noynoy Aquino, Justice Secretary Leila De Lema, Supreme Court Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno and Judge Jocelyn Solis-Reyes of Regional Trial Court Branch 221, please do your best to give justice to the victims of the Ampatuan Massacre. Most of us, the Filipino people does not want media propaganda, we want justice for all the victims of the Ampatuan Massacre. For the long span of time, given with all the evidences, there is no room for any excuse why justice is so difficult to serve.

Justice for the victims of the AMPATUAN MASSACRE, otherwise, more and more Filipinos will let go of our trust and confidence to our Philippine Justice System, more and more Filipinos will never believe in you. We still have the trust and confidence to our justice system, please don't wait the time that we will let go of the little trust and confidence that we are holding on.

Deafening Silence of the Commission on Human Rights on the Fallen 44

In the many incidents of our country wherein bloody encounters happened between the AFP and leftist groups, most often the Commission on Human Rights will immediately run at the crime scene to conduct their independent investigations and provide the media with all their information gathered even if their investigation was not yet completed. These happened in many occasions, especially when the greatest number of casualties belonged to the leftist groups. Now, in the death of the 44 SAF members who died in the hands of the rebels, WHERE IS THE COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS? WHY IS IT THAT THE CHR SEEMED TO BE SILENT IN THE ISSUE?

This is just an appeal to the Commission on Human Rights to also show your gallant enthusiasm and interest to the case of the fallen 44 just as how you show your fierce during other encounters between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the local rebels or else the Filipino people will believe that you are not really a Commission on Human Rights rather you are working in defense of the enemies of the state.
